Today i feel very guitar geeky so i'm gonna teach you kids about maple woods.



This is a flamed maple and some people like this. This really looks good with a see through black paint on the guitar.




This is my favourite piece of maple. It's called a quilted maple and usually used for the top piece of the guitar. With a see through blue paint, the guitar would look like a swimming pool. Beautiful i tell ya, the best i've saw on a guitar was from ESP as well as from PRS. They make beautiful quilted maple guitars.




A burl maple. Seldom see this on guitar finish. I don't like it cause of the brown spots they have here and there.




And this is a birdeye maple. I think i've seen this on some guitars.
